The mission of the agency is to investigate complaints on any administrative action taken by;

1. Any ministry, department or agency of the state government or local government or such other government parastatals; or
2. Any statutory corporation or public institution set up by the government, any company incorporated under or pursuant to the companies and Allied Matters Act owned by the government; or
3. Any officer or servant of any of the aforementioned bodies;
4. Non-performance or improper performance of any contract by contractor engaged by MDA, LG or other government parastatals;
5. Receive and investigate any allegation of corrupt practices against any person.
